What began as one mother's way of giving back to her daughter's home country has expanded to coordinating care for dozens of Central American children in need of heart surgery.

When a family comes to Mayo for their child's cardiac surgery, they're full of hope, fear, and uncertainty. The volunteers at HFH are there to walk alongside them by providing rides, meals, help with appointments, and just being present when they need it most.

We're always looking for compassionate volunteers and financial support. Just $20 can provide a meal for a mom or a night's lodging, giving families one less thing to worry about while they focus on their child. Thank you for helping us surround these families with love and support!
