Unfortunately, ArtAwake will not be occurring during the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival 2019 due to a lack of a team. However, we plan to spend the next year regrouping to hopefully come back even stronger for next year's Rochester Fringe Festival. We are looking for a strong new team made up of community members as well as students, so please reach out to us if you would like to get involved!

ArtAwake is coming back for 2020 and we're seeking a new creative director! Have you ever wanted to lead a yearly festival that celebrates bringing together the art of the Rochester community for a music, art & dance festival? Well, we’re looking for someone to help lead a team of directors for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year! All we are looking for is a great time & event management, motivation to learn about the city of Rochester, passion for art and (a lot) of your time towards making this festival happen! ArtAwake is here! Come from noon to midnight! Amazing art from dozens of artists is waiting for you on top floors of the First Federal Plaza.

Now in its 10th year, ArtAwake is University of Rochester-born, student-run, free art-and-music festival that showcases local talent in an unconventional venue. This year, the event joins Fringe and takes over the former Changing Scene restaurant in the First Federal Plaza building (generously donated by Chris Hill)! View hundreds of artworks while enjoying live music throughout the noon-to-midnight event. Don’t miss afternoon fun for the whole family and a sunset cocktail party for the 21+ crowd in one of Rochester’s coolest venues.

Our team worked hard to prepare this event for you! Come for nothing less than amazing!
