Today, our Executive Director Kikkan Randall is being inducted into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame!

Kikkan, this honor is so well deserved, and so fitting for the impact you’ve made both on and off the trails. You’ve shown us time and time again what it means to go the distance. You meet every challenge with grit, heart, and unstoppable determination. Nothing holds you back!

So many of us have watched and cheered you on over the years as you’ve redefined what’s possible. We’re celebrating you today and always!

Congratulations, Kikkan! Your spark continues to light the way. ✨

Most trails are melted out and/or icy.
Maplelag and Rainbow still have some availability.

Well, it looks like the ski season has come to a halt. A special hearty THANK YOU to the Detroit Lakes Nordic Ski Club for maintaining the trails this season! It was a challenging year for the volunteer groomers.
We'll need 4 inches or even more of snow if trails can be groomed again. There is snow in the woods but it's pretty icy so be careful even if hiking.
