We have reached a new three-year agreement with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia, helping make sure Anthem members have uninterrupted access to Carilion doctors and facilities across Western Virginia.

Through this partnership, Anthem and Carilion can continue working together to improve the patient experience, support better health outcomes, and help make care more affordable.

We’re so grateful to Foster Fuels and the Foster Foundation for their generous support of our young patients. 💙

Their gift will provide new mobile sensory carts for children receiving care in our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department. These carts will bring helpful sensory tools directly to patients, helping ease anxiety, support emotional regulation, and make overwhelming moments feel a little more manageable. 🚧 CRMH Construction Update 🚧
Please allow a little extra time when visiting Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Exterior work on the West Tower is moving into the next phase.

Pedestrian routes and access near the front lobby will temporarily change during this time. Please follow posted signs to navigate the area safely.

Crews will begin limestone and brick restoration in this phase. The Carilion sign and Rod of Asclepius will be temporarily removed as part of the work.
