✨The Roanoke Valley Collective Response March Stakeholder meeting was bustling with great ideas, connections and energy!

After a presentation on the RVCR Blueprint for Action Update, community members from partner organizations convened in working groups to identify action items for these priority categories:

🏫Prevention, Education & Family Support
Goal: Decrease mental health challenges that may lead to increased substance use, violence, and declined in the quality of life for individuals with SUD.

🚑Crisis Intervention & Public Safety
Goal: To decrease the burden of overdose felt by persons who use drugs, their friends and families, and first responders.

💜Treatment
Goal: Rapid access to treatment at all levels of care to reduce disruptions in care and better foster outcomes for individuals.

💼Workforce & Economic Development
Goal: Engaging the business sector to become recovery ready to identify workforce needs and support recovery in the workplace.

🏠Recovery Services
Goal: Focusing on supports for individuals, families, and communities affected by SUD for improvement on health and wellness.

✨Thriving
Goal: Long-term support for individuals in recovery by maintaining social determinants of health as well as personal purpose, passion, and identify development.
