☀️ Summer safety starts with simple conversations!

Last Sunday, Safe Kids was proud to participate in Boca Grove's Kids Safety Fair, where we connected with families and shared important tips to help children stay safe all summer long. From water safety and heat-related illness prevention to bike helmet use and sun protection, we enjoyed helping parents and caregivers prepare for a fun and safe summer season.

It was also fantastic to see the many live safety demonstrations throughout the event! These hands-on experiences gave families the opportunity to learn directly from local safety professionals and first responders, making important safety lessons both engaging and memorable for children and adults alike.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, and picked up safety resources. Together, we can help keep kids safe wherever summer adventures take them! 💙

📚☀️ Books, helmets, and big smiles!

We had a fantastic time at the Annual Summer Kickoff Book Giveaway at the Belle Glade Library, hosted by the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County. Families enjoyed free books, engaging story readings from community speakers, and fun activities that helped kick off a summer of learning and adventure.

Safe Kids was proud to be part of the event, providing free bike helmets and helmet fittings to help young riders stay safe while enjoying their summer break. 🚲⛑️

Thank you to the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County and all the community partners who helped make this event possible. We love seeing our community come together to support literacy, safety, and healthy childhoods!

A big thank you to BRIDGES , Lake Worth West Resident Planning Group , and The Salvation Army Lake Worth, Florida Corps for hosting such a welcoming and impactful Healthy Minds, Happy Families Resource Fair! 💙

It was wonderful connecting with families, sharing safety tips and resources, and meeting fellow community partners who are dedicated to helping children and families thrive. Events like this highlight the importance of coming together to support the health, well-being, and safety of our community.

Create reminders- leave something you'll need when you exit the car in the back seat (purse, wallet, phone, shoe...)

Join us this Saturday at the Belle Glade Library for an afternoon for the whole family! We'll be there from 1p- 4p.

Safe Kids Palm Beach County will be on-site providing FREE bike helmets and helmet fittings for children to help keep them safe all summer long. A properly fitted helmet can make all the difference when riding a bike, scooter, or other wheeled device.

🎉 Plus, there will be plenty of other fun activities and resources for kids and families to enjoy!

Start the summer off right by making safety a priority.
