Hello, here's a some background information about me. I attended Wyoming Indian School kindergarten through 12th grade, except my freshman year, when I attended Lander Valley High School. I graduated in 1998 from Wyoming Indian high school. I attended Haskell Indian Nations University for one year. When I came home from college, I struggled to find a job on the reservation. I realized how hard it was to get hired. I eventually got hired at Walmart and worked there for 2 years. I left walmart because I was tired of the low pay. A friend told me to apply at 789 Bingo Casino. My pay doubled, it was hard to believe! From there I worked my way to way to the newly developed Table Games Department and then worked my way up. In December 2008, I was asked to step in as the Table Games Manager. I ran the department successfully for 11 years and provided jobs to many tribal members that helped them provide for their families. My uncle told me once that this is the reason the casino was built; for the purpose of providing opportunities to tribal members! The Casino needs to become the developmental focus of our tribe once again. We need to reinvest in its upkeep and open other businesses within the casino to attract more customers. Then we will increase employment, wages, and the number of tribal members working there! By doing so will raise the quality of life for tribal members. One of the things I would like to do is for us to build a hotel swimming pool that should have been built 14 years ago and add a multiplex movie theater!
