MITA - Masonry Industry Training Association ​MITA is a nonprofit started in 1997, by a group of contractors who saw the need for recruitment and training of new people in the masonry industry.

In Southern California, we're the bricklayer/mason apprenticeship training program approved by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations Division of Apprenticeship Standards, and the Federal DOL Office of Apprenticeship. MITA's mission is to team up with high schools and adult schools to promote and teach masonry to as many young people as possible. MITA is both State of Californi
