It comes with great sadness and a heavy heart that we are sharing one of our longtime coaches, Ben Fonseca has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with Toni, Benny, Mason, Sage and the rest of the Fonseca family.

Ben has been a coach/instructor with us since 2004. Even over the last few years while Ben was getting treatment he would still pop over to Diamond Nation. Whether it was to watch his oldest son play, coach some 1st base, or just to chat with the coaches, he always brought a smile to all of our faces. Ben, you will be greatly missed by our Diamond Jacks family. We know you will continue your passion and will be “coaching ‘em’ up “ up there.

Diamond Jacks Signing Day is one of our favorite days of the year. This afternoon we celebrated these 15 Diamond Jacks that will be continuing their baseball career next year in college. We couldn’t be more proud of this group and how hard they worked to get to this point. We wish you all the best in your next chapter and remember our doors are always open for you!
