Every year Troop 184 has the privilege of participating in the Memorial Day ceremony in River Edge. Today we honor the memory of the men and women of our Armed Forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Troop 184 has been very active over the winter months and into spring. From campouts to meetings to get-togethers to service and so much more, the troop really lives up to what it means to be a scout.

Scouting values extend much further than when a scout completes their scouting journey. Values, work ethic and character stay with you throughout your life. Stand tall, be proud of being a scout. Be inspired by David Montgomery and be an inspiration for scouts that come after you.

TOMORROW - RAIN OR SHINE

Scouting is an adventure worth taking!

Gain an appreciation for the outdoors! Camping, cooking over an open fire, canoeing at summer camp, rock climbing (indoor and outdoor), hiking and so much more!

Develop leadership skills! When you're younger, you're a vital member of a patrol. As you grow, you become a patrol leader. After that, you advance into a senior leadership position, helping to pass down your knowledge to the next generation of scouts!

Earn merit badges! There are 135 merit badges that you can earn. They range from Reading to Architecture to Swimming and so much more!

Advance through the Ranks! The path begins at the rank of Scout and goes through to Eagle! Along the advancement path, you learn about scout basics and service while you work your way up!

Join us tomorrow at 10am at Memorial Park!
