Big Thanks to Keden Shrum, The Terry Family, Cordero Fuentes, and everyone involved with the Bobby Lee Terry Memorial Golf Tournament. Our athletic programs will benefit greatly from your hard work and generosity!

This year’s tournament was a huge success! Today, we met with Dustin and proudly presented a check for $6,000 to the Rison Booster Club!

We could not have done this without everyone who played in the tournament, volunteered, and supported us through our amazing sponsors. Thank you all for helping us honor Bobby Lee Terry’s memory while giving back to our community.

Congratulations to our Week 7 Kevin Bonnette- State Farm Rison Wildcat Player of the Week, Mr. Noah Matheson! The Wildcat junior recorded 14 strikeouts over 2 games last week. He also allowed only 3 hits, 1 walk, and no earned runs. Noah also contributed at the plate with 3 hits and 3 walks. Matheson also recorded his 200th career strikeout against McGehee! Nice week and career Noah!

Congratulations to our Week 6 Kevin Bonnette - State Farm Rison Wildcat Softball Player of the Week, Ms. Elissa Summar! The senior catcher went 6 for 12 at the plate in 2 games, scoring 2 runs and adding 4 stolen bases. She also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage behind the plate. Nice week Elissa!

Congratulations to our Week 6 Kevin Bonnette - State Farm Rison Wildcats Baseball Players of the Week, Mr. Mason Weaver and Mr. Noah Matheson!
Weaver pitched a complete game run rule victory over Drew Central, allowing just 1 hit with no runs scored and 1 strikeout. He also added a hit at the plate with an RBI single.
Matheson threw a complete game win over McGehee, recording a school record 17 strikeouts. He also contributed offensively with 2 hits, a run scored, and a sacrifice fly for an RBI.
This marks Weaver's second Player of the Week honor this season, while Matheson earns his third recognition from the Rison coaching staff. Nice week young men!

Congratulations to this week Kevin Bonnette - State Farm Rison Wildcat Softball Player of the Week, Ms. Mackenzie King! In 2 games last week, Mackenzie went 4 for 7 at the plate and had a major impact defensively recording a perfect fielding percentage with 19 putouts and one assist along with turning a double play! Nice week Mackenzie.

Congratulations to our Week 5 Kevin Bonnette - State Farm Rison Wildcats Co-Players of the Week, Mr. Brayden Terry and Mr. CJ Edwards. Brayden, a Wildcat senior, recorded 3 hits and scored 2 runs while also making several key defensive plays in center field last week.
CJ, also a Wildcat senior, collected 2 hits and scoring 2 runs at the plate. He also contributed on the mound by pitching 2 innings in relief without allowing a hit or runs to go along with 3 strikeouts in the Wildcats' win over Dumas.
