‼️New Composite Backflow Prevention Assembly has been Approved‼️

As we know, backflow prevention devices are often targeted for theft, and replacement can be very costly. Please be sure to coordinate with your local water district before replacing any backflow prevention assemblies to ensure proper approval and compliance.

This was discussed at many Business Watch meetings. We were just informed that a new composite backflow prevention assembly has been approved. This model is primarily plastic and includes four small brass components; it’s best practice to paint over those parts to reduce visibility.

If you would like a list of approved backflow prevention assemblies as of August 2025 please pm us and below is the composite model mentioned above and the water purveyor list and the purveyor map for reference.

📣 Volunteers & Donations Needed for National Night Out! 🎉

The Rio Linda Elverta Neighborhood Association is officially planning our annual National Night Out event, and we need YOUR help to make it a huge success!

National Night Out is a fantastic community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It’s a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, Metro Fire, TRUSD Police, and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department in a positive and fun atmosphere.

This year's event will be held at the Rio Linda Library (the former Rio Linda Elementary School). To keep this a wonderful and free event for the many community members who attend, we are looking for volunteers and donations!

Our Request: 🙏
We need volunteers and local organizations to help supply and serve FREE food and drinks for the event. In the past, this has included:
🌭 Hot dogs
🍉 Watermelon
🥤 Bottled water & juice
🍿 Popcorn..and other simple, fun foods!

EVENT DETAILS:

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Rio Linda Library (6th and M Street)
