Isabella is also a member of Lucky Star 4-H

Rio Grande City FFA member Isabella Carrera proudly represented our chapter at the 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Calf Scramble!

Although she did not catch a calf this year, Isabella competed with determination and heart against tough competition — going head-to-head with both boys and girls all vying for the same opportunity. The calf scramble gives students the chance to earn a scholarship, with funds going toward the purchase of a calf project for the following year.

We are incredibly proud of Isabella for stepping into the arena, giving it her all, and representing Rio Grande City FFA with grit and sportsmanship. Great job, Isabella! 👏🐮

🍀 Get ready for a fun night with Starr County 4-H! Join us for our Kickoff on Monday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Starr County Fairgrounds!
🍀 We’ll celebrate with games, dancing, ambassador presentations, and project info, and enjoy an evening full of fun, learning, and community spirit.
