Simultaneous calls required mutual aid today. While the day shift crew handled the first medical call, no call back members were available and mutual aid was required to handle the second medical call. Thank you to Jaffrey Fire and Peterboough Ambulance for your assistance. Simultaneous calls are a very common occurance both day and night and highligts the importance of daytime staffing while call members are unavailable due to full time job commitments.

The Rindge Firefighter's Association submitted the attached letter to the Rindge Board of Selectmen during the Citizens’ Forum at their July 16, 2025 meeting. We respectfully urge the Board to prioritize the safety of Rindge’s residents and visitors, while supporting a sustainable future for our department — including its staffing model and the successor to Chief Rickard Donovan. We are also calling for an immediate end to the dissemination of misinformation in public forums and the misrepresentation of our dedicated and respected personnel.

It has been our honor and privilege to serve the Town of Rindge for the past 100 years and we respectfully ask for the communities continued support in return.
