Agape Silicon Valley, September 12th Distribution

During last month's distribution, we found a new encampment of nearly 50 unhoused individuals. We know of four other encampments a little bit smaller. In addition to Roosevelt Park, these encampments will keep us all busy helping our communities' most vulnerable.

~Agape Silicon Valley's May 9th Resource Distribution~

With the rise in encampment abatements (sweeps) this year, it’s become much harder to locate and consistently serve those experiencing homelessness. For the past six years, we’ve gone directly to encampments to deliver resources. Now, the model has shifted—and so have we.

Today, we’re meeting people in a new way. At two central sites, more than 200 individuals experiencing homelessness and advocates come together each month to access support. By partnering with four incredible nonprofits, we’ve expanded our impact—providing food, essential supplies, assessments, and a stronger sense of community.

And we’ve made it more fun too! :-)

Over time, don’t be surprised if you walk up and see live music, karaoke, dance contests, haircuts, a photo booth, and more. It’s not just about services—it’s about dignity, connection, and a few hours of real joy.

Quite possibly the most uplifting three hours of your month.
