Tacklealz Oxford

Tacklealz Oxford TackleALZis a volunteer-driven event that brings the passion and athleticism of young community leaders together to support the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer's Mississippi

TackleALZ Oxford had its first powder puff football game at Lafayette High School on April 16, 2016. On May 2, 2017, the fun continues as two groups of ladies will meet up on the gridiron to play for a deserving cause: to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Mississippi. In Mississippi, more than 51,000 are living with an Alzheimer’s disease diagnoses and are cared for by over 205,000 caregivers who are often spouses and family members. Young philanthropists both women and men organize one of the most unique and fun events of the year, raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Mississippi. Players and coaches organize fun events and practices during the spring and are encouraged to fundraise $250 to participate in the game.
