💙 Today is National Su***de Prevention Day 💜

For the Nicholas Negron Mental Health Foundation, today is more than just a day on the calendar. It is a reminder of why we started this Foundation in the first place.

We know that behind every statistic is a person. Someone’s son or daughter. Someone’s brother or sister. Someone’s best friend. Someone who was deeply loved and whose presence mattered more than they may have ever realized.

Our mission is rooted in making sure people know that it is okay to not be okay. It is okay to be vulnerable. It is okay to ask for help. And most importantly, you do not have to face your struggles alone.

If you’re struggling today, please know that your story is not over. There are people who care about you, people who want to listen, and people who want you here. Sometimes, simply reaching out and saying “I’m not okay” can be the first step.

And if someone in your life has been quiet lately, check on them. Send the text. Make the call. Sit with them. You never know how much that small act of kindness could mean.

Today, we remember those we have lost, stand beside those who are struggling, and continue fighting to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Your life has value. Your voice matters. Your presence matters. You matter. 💚
If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is pause, reset, and reconnect with what’s right in front of you.

Mental health isn’t something you fix overnight—it’s something you build every single day ☀️

The small choices matter more than the big ones:
Choosing to pause instead of react.
Choosing to step outside instead of stay stuck.
Choosing to be honest with yourself instead of avoiding how you feel.

Strength doesn’t always look loud or visible.
Sometimes it looks like getting through the day, setting a boundary, or starting again tomorrow 🏁

If no one has told you lately—you’re allowed to grow at your own pace 💜💚

Today we’re remembering and celebrating Nick on his birthday. Days like this can bring a mix of emotions, but they also remind us of how lucky we were to know him and share so many meaningful moments together.

Nick had a way of making people feel at ease the moment they were around him. His kindness was genuine, his laughter was contagious, and he had a natural ability to bring people together. Whether it was a small conversation or a room full of friends, he made everyone feel valued and welcome.

Even though we wish he were here to celebrate with us, his spirit continues to live on in the memories we hold close and in the way he taught us to treat one another with warmth, generosity, and positivity.

Today we’ll be thinking about him a little extra; sharing stories, remembering his smile, and honoring him by carrying that same kindness into the world.
Happy birthday, Nick. You are loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten 💜❤️💚

Today remains a difficult day for the NNMHF community, as it marks seven years since Nick’s passing

We take this time to look through photographs of Nick and reflect on the many meaningful memories we shared; to celebrate his life. Although today is filled with sorrow, we are deeply grateful to have had such a remarkable person in our lives

We also wish to encourage everyone to check in on their friends and family, express love whenever possible, and approach each day with intention and gratitude, just as Nick would

Support is always available. The 988 Lifeline is accessible 24/7 or those experiencing a mental health crisis, as well as for anyone who may simply need someone to talk to. There are many effective paths to support and healing, and it is important to find what works best for each one of us 💚
