Found dumped on the side of the highway in a remote part of the Mojave Desert on Labor Day weekend as a 5 month old puppy and left to fend for himself.

and SUPER chill, but most certainly NOT for everyone. POWER BREED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. He's 6.5ish months old and definitely ready to find a FOREVER HOME to call his own!

A few weeks ago this girl known as "Fiona" sat at with no one coming for her. She developed an upper respiratory infection, which is a sure way to get fast tracked to the list no one wants to be on.

She had one VERY weak networking thread with hardly any activity. No pledges, no donations (one foster offer who never replied despite being responded to... pretty par for the course)... nothing. She wouldn't have made it out if it wasn't for ODAAT.

Soooo, we pulled her, called her "Jovi," took on the expense of the spay (because she was sick and couldn't be spayed at the shelter) AND the expense of the treatment for her URI and now she is ready to start looking for her

This petite girl is as sweet as they come. She's around 2ish years old, spayed, chipped, vaccinated, good with dogs, doesn't seem to mind the resident barn cat and would really love a home to call her own. One week Donna update!

First and foremost... THANK YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH for SHOWING UP and donating towards sweet Donna's care! As you all know, Donna's is one of our sanctuary dogs (due to her medical... unfortunately, none are "sponsored" so we always have to ask for help) which means we rely heavily on YOU to help us with things that arise with her... especially when they are sudden.

Well, the barium study went as barium studies often go and it was pretty inconclusive. As you can see from the images (I did my best to put them in order but I was going crosseyed, like Donna 🤣, trying to keep them in order once they were put in the collage... so I gave up... I did my best... but you get the idea), everything (meaning the barium) did end up passing through. So, we are going to try to manage this medically, with some meds and some simple lifestyle modifications and avoid an exploratory surgery at all cost. For now, she seems to be doing well and, as Danes do, has not had one single regurge episode since the vet appt! 🤦‍♀️

Thank you ALL again for your kindness and your generosity. Donna and I BEYOND appreciate it! 💞
