Amazing!

🐾 NEW MICROCHIP SCANNING STATION NOW AVAILABLE IN RIDGECREST! 🐾

Thanks to Kern County Animal Services for providing a public microchip scanning station & to our board member, Sean Bassett, for not only picking the station up in Bakersfield, but for doing the installation as well! This station is now available 24/7 for community residents to help reunite lost pets with their families. 💚🐶🐱

📍 The scanner is located at the front of our rescue building on Inyokern Road.

If you find a stray pet, you can now scan for a microchip yourself by following the instructions posted on the sign.

⚠️ Please DO NOT leave found pets at our rescue location. The scanning station as well as the entire facility is under 24 hour video surveillance. This station is self-service and includes instructions for use.

A huge thank you to Kern County Animal Services for helping bring this resource to our community to help get microchipped lost pets home safely! 🏠🐾
