Haafith Society Of North America, a non profit LLC organization, was established in 2011 by its founder Abdul-Fattah Muhammad. Sheikh Abdul-Fattah was born in Newark, New Jersey, where he later moved to Gambia, West Africa. As a youth he enrolled into Madrasa-Tu Najaah to learn and memorize the Book Of Allah, Al-Qur'an. In 1994 he received his degree in Methods of Memorization. Since then he has m

oved back to the United States , where he has been teaching Al-Qur'an and leading Taraweeh prayers from 1995 to present in Richmond, VA during the month of Ramadan. HSNA was founded by Sheikh Abdul-Fattah after discovering the benefit of learning Al-Qur'an in a rural environment. Such an environment offers less distractions and greater focus than that of an urban setting. It is a great blessing to the Muslim Ummah for Allah to give us HSNA. That fact became apparent once we realized the the acronym for Haafith Society Of North America is HSNA (ie. Hasana=Blessings) which is mentioned several times in Al-Qur'an, please read below.
