🕰️ FROM THE AACN ARCHIVES: A Look Back at Where We Began! ❤️

Before webinars, podcasts, and on-demand continuing education… there were cassette tapes! 📼

Did you know that educational sessions from AACN’s National Teaching Institute (NTI) were once recorded on cassette tapes and made available for nurses to purchase?

Imagine returning home from NTI with a collection of tapes, ready to continue learning and share new knowledge with your colleagues!

These incredible pieces of AACN history remind us that while the way we learn has changed dramatically, our commitment to education, professional growth, and excellence in critical care nursing has remained constant.

A special thank-you to Audrey Roberson for sharing these treasures from the AACN archives and helping us celebrate the legacy of our profession!

💬 We want to hear from you! What was your first NTI experience like? Do you remember learning from cassette tapes, VHS recordings, or printed conference materials?

Share your memories in the comments! 👇

🩺 You’ll learn about:
• Key updates in adult & pediatric sepsis guidelines
• Early recognition and timely intervention
• Resuscitation, antimicrobial therapy & hemodynamic support
• Similarities and differences across patient populations
• Practical strategies for putting the latest evidence into practice

🎙️ Featuring:

Lauren R. Sorce, PhD, RN, CPNP-AC/PC, CCRN, FCCM, FAAN
A nationally recognized pediatric critical care expert who helped develop the updated pediatric sepsis definitions.

Joanna “Jodee” Lejnieks, MSN, RN, CCRN
