We are saddened to learn of the passing of Pearline Harmon, pictured front center. As the first President of VBCF's Hampton Roads Chapter in 2003, Pearline helped lay the foundation for the chapter's growth and success. She remained an active leader for many years, serving in several leadership roles until her move from the area in 2010.

We are grateful for her years of leadership, service, and dedication, and for the lasting impact she made on our organization and the Hampton Roads community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and loved ones. 💗

Grief after breast cancer can take many forms. It can look like grieving the person you were before diagnosis, mourning lost experiences, struggling with uncertainty, or feeling disconnected from your body and identity.

These emotions are more common than many people realize — and you do not have to navigate them alone.
