We have 18 middle schoolers and one of the priorities during our first 8 weeks are building strong habits and study skills. This takes intentional teaching, modeling and practice. Our middle schoolers take Prealgebra/algebra, astronomy w/lab, afroliteracy, art, study skills, & cultural cloths. All with different teachers, rhythms and levels of work. We wanted to provide an on-boarding course to set them up for success. ...and its working. They are coming along nicely! Class led by mama Mama Deneen
