📣 Homeschool Freedom Rally

Make an appointment to meet your senator or delegate then come to the rally. Why? Most legislators know very little about homeschooling — its history, its laws, or the real-life impact on families like yours. That’s why showing up matters. When you share your experience, you put real faces to homeschool policy and help legislators understand how their decisions affect families across Virginia.

🗓️ Rally Day Schedule:
• 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Meet with your legislators in the General Assembly Building
• 2:00–2:30 p.m. Rally for Homeschool Freedom at the Bell Tower

We’ll provide an information packet to help guide your conversations, and we encourage you to wear red and bring signs as we stand together for homeschool freedom.

Empowered Home Educators is helping families learn about opportunities like the National Civics Bee, a national competition supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Commerce Foundation that invites students to think critically, engage civically, and compete on a national stage.

Even with the rain, our Back to School Family Reunion Bash was filled with warmth, joy, and connection.

We’re so thankful for every family that came out, every partner that stood with us, and every volunteer who poured into this space.
