Wayne County Indiana Extension Homemakers

09/21/2026

One of our members from Harrison Township club turned 100 yesterday!

Her club had a beautful little party for her and celebrated her life, memories, wisdom, and 69 years of Extension Homemakers.

We are so proud to celebrate with Dora Martin! Happy birthday!

If you are able to help, please deliver items to the Wayne County Extension Office!

4-H community - one of our own needs your help. The Pampel family's home caught fire and is a total loss, but all family members made it out safely. They are in immediate need of clothing and non-perishable food items. We will be accepting donations at the Extension Office. If you feel led to help in other areas, please reach out and we will connect you with the family. Let's come together as a 4-H community to support this family as they recover from this devastating loss.

Some call it old fashioned.

I call it knowing where your food comes from, how to make a meal from simple ingredients, and having skills that still matter when trends come and go.

Making things from scratch isn’t a trend — it’s choosing connection over convenience.
