ASD is teaming up with the for the to increase pet fostering across the United States. We invite you to attend our Foster Open House Saturday, August 16th from 5pm-6pm to help us with our life-saving efforts!

Fostering is a life-saving shelter intervention for our pets as it:
Helps reduce length of stay at shelters and decreases the risk of adoption returns.
Eases capacity challenges thus opening space for incoming animals.

Provides animals with valuable in-home experience and attention giving us more information on an animal’s behavior to help find the best home for them.

A few things about Cricket…

* Terrier mix
* petite and weighs just 35 pounds
* brought in as stray after found on Seventy First School Road
* not yet spayed - she will be upon adoption
* heartworm test is pending
* ready to greet you at her door and quick to be friends
* calm and quiet in an out of kennel
* explored a little but mostly wanted to be right near me getting love
* loving, happy, friendly, social, playful
* affectionate - she curled right up in lap for back scratches and pets. she didn't mind being held and getting pets
* very gentle treat taker and gives kisses!

Cricket is an all around good girl. She loves everyone and seeks your attention. She enjoys back scratches, ears scrubs, and she's a big fan of endless belly rubs!
This sweet little girl misses the comfort and love of having a home and a family. She's hoping for a new beginnings with a loving family. Can you open your heart and home for sweet Cricket?

UPDATE: REUNITED!! this pet is home safe & sound after 20 hours, 46 minutes :)

Please spread the word so we can reunite this found dog with its family! FOUND on August 15, 2025 in Woodbridge, VA 22193 near Darbydale ave
