I will be forever grateful for these people.

Over the last year, they never gave up on me, even when I wanted to give up on everything.

When I lost my mom, who was not only my mom but Homegrown4Heroes’ biggest supporter and donor, I felt lost. I slowed down. I was hurting in ways I didn’t know how to explain. Then in January, I lost my baby brother in a car accident, and it pushed me into one of the darkest places I’ve ever been. I was exhausted. Not physically tired. Soul tired.

These people showed up anyway.

They came to my house. They called. They FaceTimed. They checked in when I didn’t have the strength to reach out. They loved me through some of the hardest days of my life.

I’ve always been the one carrying everyone else. The one saying, “Let me help. Let me carry some of that weight.” Asking for help has never come naturally to me.

Sunday was the first time I’ve been out in a setting like this since January. And honestly? I was scared. Me. The one everyone thinks is always strong.

Sometimes even the strongest people need help standing back up.

I’m thankful beyond words that they helped me find my feet again. ❤️

Another solid event at Grow Depot for Operation Throw & Grow. 💚🌱

Seeing the community pull up like this every single time is honestly wild. Veterans, growers, local supporters, nonprofits, good people from all over just coming together for something bigger than themselves.

A lot of people only see the photos, but they don’t see the conversations, the connections being made, the veterans finding community again, or the people showing up with genuine hearts ready to help however they can. That’s the part that matters most.

Huge thank you to Grow Depot for always supporting the mission and giving us a place to keep building. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, hung out, tossed bags, shared laughs, and spent the day with us.

We’re building something real out here. One event, one connection, one veteran at a time. 🇺🇸

Ps I’m sure I didn’t tag everyone: lmk if not. 💚

See you guys soon!

I am finally getting back in the groove. After losing my brother in January, I hit a really low point… one I didn’t fully understand until I was in it. But I am so thankful for the people who didn’t ask questions, didn’t need explanations, they just showed up and made sure I was okay. That kind of love stays with you.

That said… we are gearing up again 💚

Planting for Patriots is more than a program, it’s a purpose. It’s healing. It’s community. It’s making sure our veterans have access to something that truly helps them.

We’re planting seeds again, in every sense of the word 🌱
And I’m ready to keep going.

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, this is your sign. Let’s grow for something bigger than ourselves 🇺🇸
