Are you a visual artist, writer, poet, singer, instrumentalist, actor, dancer, or photographer? Are you none of these things, but interested in becoming one and worried that you're "not good enough"? We host themed workshops, where you can learn more about art, writing, music, dance, video editing, photography, and more. Even if you don't feel that you're strong in these areas, we encourage you to
come anyway and expose yourself to something new and different. For the purposes of these events, there's no such thing as "not good enough". We also host critiques where the work you've already started can be peer reviewed! Every week, for our critiques, we ask that you bring at least one piece you're working on. It doesn't have to be anything much; it could be as simple as a sketch/work-in-progress, an early draft of a story or poem, a bit of a song you're working on, or a dance routine you want to polish. We'll give you criticism that's constructive but not mean-spirited, and you can choose to revise that piece for next week or bring something new. We believe in learning from each other. None of us knows everything there is to know about art, but we can teach each other so much, and we can have a lot of fun in the process. So come to Art In The Park and let's get creative!
