Time-Sensitive Opportunity for Donors

As RCF Connects celebrates 25 years of building equity in Contra Costa County, we're sharing important news for your year-end giving:

2025 offers unprecedented tax advantages for charitable giving—but they're about to change. Under current law, charitable contributions are fully deductible with no minimum floor, and top-bracket donors receive 37% tax savings per dollar given.
Starting in 2026, new rules will reduce these benefits significantly. Consider accelerating your planned giving into 2025 to maximize both your impact and tax savings.
Your gift powers real change:

2,500+ families breaking cycles of poverty
26 first-time homebuyers achieving the dream of homeownership
Economic empowerment for Black women entrepreneurs
Help us reach our $250,000 goal before year-end. Don't forget to check if your employer offers matching gifts to double your impact!

In Contra Costa County, Black women receive less than 1% of community funding dollars. Our Equity for Black Women and Girls Initiative is changing that narrative by channeling resources, training, and support directly to Black women entrepreneurs and leaders.

Saturday the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Centerand Equity for Black Women and Girls celebrated 18 new entrepreneurs as they pitched their businesses to a panel of esteemed business professionals.

Congratulations Motebii, (.tebii), JazziB LLC (), and Anointedd (https://anointedd.square.site) the first, second and third prize winners of the Taking Flight pitch competition.

All 18 contestants won financial support to support them as they launch their business.

This holiday season help us reach $250,000 to expand economic power where it's needed most. Give today: Click the [link](https://give.richmondcf.org/ge/eoyappeal2025)

This year, as RCF Connects celebrates 25 years of serving community, our heart is full. Your love, generosity, and belief in equity—they’re the reasons families have found stability and hope every year.

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for you to stand with us again. Because right now, equity is under threat. Vulnerable families are feeling the strain. And the protections we fought for are being rolled back.

💙 Your compassion fuels housing stability.
💛 Your generosity opens doors for youth.
🌊 Your belief in equity strengthens our communities across Contra Costa County and beyond.

Please give today—and check if your employer matches gifts. Every act of love multiplies.
Stand with us for the next 25 years.

Because of You, Our Community Thrives—Thank You for Being Part of Our Mission

As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the incredible partnerships we have built with you to create meaningful changes that uplift our community. Together, we have made a significant impact on many lives, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

This Thanksgiving, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for being an integral part of our mission. Giving thanks is what Thanksgiving is all about.

Your commitment to our mission is truly inspiring, and we are honored to have you as a part of our community. Together, we are making a difference and building a brighter future for everyone. However, whether our cups are half full or half empty, remember that there are those without a cup, and thus the work continues.

From all of us at RCF Connects, we wish you and your loved ones a joyous and blessed Thanksgiving. Thank the past for the wisdom it has given us, and anticipate the future for all the blessings that are to come.

May your holiday be filled with warmth, happiness, and the love of those you hold dear.

With heartfelt gratitude, Wishing You a Blessed Thanksgiving!

Thousands of Contra Costa families are being pushed to the brink. Public funds for food assistance, housing, healthcare and other vital services have been cut by the federal government, forcing parents, families, and seniors to make impossible choices — whether to put food on the table, get mental health care, or keep a roof over their heads.

The Board of Supervisors must allocate the remaining pot of former ARPA funds to prioritize meeting urgent, community-identified needs — that keep Contra Costa residents fed, housed, and healthy.
