The Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will serve as first point of contact for all consumers/customers seeking information, referral, and direct services from VDDHH. Ability to answer the telephone switchboard is required. He/she provides administrative support to the Business Manager and the Director. He/she will assist the Business Manager in developing e-requisitions, paying agency invoices, ensuring office/administrative processes are followed, and coordinating
office logistics. American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency is strongly preferred.
