Allison Shaffer introduced our speakers Clarence and Vikki Hayes discussing their non-profit from Berea, Bobtown Arts. Bobtown offers spaces among fields of green where you can reconnect with nature for peaceful reflection, both in isolation and in the heart of a community of fellow artists.

Since 2012, Bobtown has served potters in the Madison and surrounding Counties. The Bobtown ceramics program provides space, equipment, and expertise to intermediate potters and introductions to clay through our Day in Clay Program.

In 2025, Bobtown completed the Writing Studio to support local writers. Writing workshops, feedback circles, writing groups, and writing retreats are offered to the public. The goal is to inspire the community to incorporate and keep art in their lives.
