If you are working in the cannabis space, or support, the cannabis, culture, community, medicinal use, commercial use, future business, endeavors and employment opportunities, and essentially all good things that will come from the acceptance and legalization of cannabis use, then I’m talking to you. A big part of this conversation Should be focused on and continue to be focused on righting the wrongs of the past with those who faced criminal charges with cannabis related offenses. I’m sure these will specifically start at minor level, possession charges and be on a case by case basis. But as Cannabis becomes fully legal, prescribed, sold, purchased, and used positively in dozens of Ways, people who are in jail for the exact same thing need to be appropriately released.
Those companies that currently exist, and I’m including myself in that, should make it a point to do their best to support, fund, bring light to organizations who are working to make this a possibility. Make sure to keep these organizations in your conversation. If you have organizations you would like to support financially or with your time and energy . We highly recommend it. We will do the same.
