Wonderful day at Bellemeade Park with The Fall Line Home Schoolers! Our young visitors were busy feeding the chickens, harvesting fresh vegetables, weeding and pulling garlic - what a day of hands-on learning and connection with nature. The park was happy, and so were we!

📚🌱 A Wonderful Start to Our Saturday Literacy Club! 🌱📚

What a fantastic kickoff to our Saturday Literacy Club! A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers from Trinity United Methodist, Cristo Rey, and Benedictine for their time and dedication.

In addition to fostering a love for reading, we got our hands in the dirt and planted potatoes and onions—learning and growing in more ways than one! It was truly a wonderful day of community, learning, and connection.

Looking forward to many more Saturdays together! 🌿📖💙

🌿 Kicking Off Spring Field Trips at Bellemeade Park! 🌿

We had a fantastic start to our spring field trips with the Pre-K students from MLK Early Child Center at Bellemeade Park! Even with a little chill in the air, the children had a wonderful time exploring, learning, and enjoying the great outdoors.

There’s nothing better than seeing their excitement and curiosity in nature! Looking forward to many more adventures this season. 🌞🍃

🌟 A Wonderful Morning at Bellemeade Park!🌟

A huge thank you to Andrew Freiden from Channel 12 and Sara Hudson from "Read to Them" for joining us on Tuesday, October 22nd! Our Oak Grove-Bellemeade Elementary School second graders had an amazing time reading a book about gardening. 📚🌱

After the story, we enjoyed fresh lettuce and kale from our garden and even fed our worms. 🥬🐛 Life was truly wonderful in the park!

🌟 Wonderful Volunteer Day at Bellemeade Park!🌟

We had an amazing volunteer day filled with exciting activities and accomplishments! Our dedicated volunteers built a playhouse, which was quickly discovered and enjoyed by our children. We also built and installed two kiosks, planted more native trees, and added native plants to our woodland garden. Additionally, we prepared an area for the installation of native shrubs and plants.

Mark your calendars! Our next planting days are October 31st, November 2nd, and 3rd. 🌳🌿

🌟 Field Trip Fun with Blackwell Pre-K! 🌟

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting 38 pre-k children from the Blackwell Pre School program. It was truly magical to witness the delight in their eyes as they discovered the wonders of nature and to hear the joy in their voices. 🌿✨

Our field trips have been warmly embraced by both teachers and students, with everyone eagerly asking, "When can we come back?"

📚 Saturday Literacy Program: 13th Year Kickoff! 📚

We are thrilled to announce that our Saturday Literacy Program is off to a fantastic start in its 13th year! 🎉

This year, we are proud to have 35 Hispanic students, ranging in age from four to thirteen, participating in our program. A special shoutout to the incredible students from Collegiate High School for their unwavering support and dedication. Your efforts are making a significant impact on our community.

Many of our children have been with us for four years, and it's heartwarming to see their growth and enthusiasm for learning. Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible!

Saturday marked the first day of our Fall Saturday Literacy and Outdoor Club at Bellemeade! 🍂📚 We were thrilled to have a house full of our wonderful children, and we are incredibly blessed to be joined by our amazing Collegiate and Benedictine students. 🙌
