Often, I think of the moments and people who made all the difference in getting us where we are today. When I first began the Nonprofit idea of combining the Paranormal with Historic Preservation, I always said if I can just get a chance to talk then people will understand how valuable this is.
A pivotal moment was when Jerry Paulley gave me that chance when he asked me to share a paranormal story passed down in my family on his and Tracy’s podcast. From there he gave me more chances of getting to investigate with him, watch him and Tracy live at haunted locations, and to message when I needed him or just wanted to share.
Mountain Mama Investigations Inc. may not be here today or have had the success that we have, had it not been for the generous and kind nature of Jerry and Tracy. We may have not had the chance to help aid in historic preservation and private paranormal crisis cases had it not been for that moment. We are forever grateful for both of them.
The Paranormal field can be competitive and I never understood this and still don’t. Thankfully, those like Jerry and Tracy did not support that way of thinking as well.
No matter how much we work in the macabre and around death, it doesn’t make it easier. At the same time, I find comfort from experiencing in working in this field that death isn’t always the end. Jerry and Tracy’s success is undoubtedly from hardwork, but I contemplate that it also came from their loving hearts. Jerry’s spirit continues to be with each and every person that he has reached through his work over the years.
What a legacy to leave my friend. Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge. 🌈
