The Hendrickson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit breaking barriers so people with disabilities and veterans can play, connect, and thrive. By supporting adaptive and Warrior hockey programs’ growth and participation nationwide, we aim to break barriers and promote inclusivity in the game. Hockey challenges and develops players as individuals and athletes; it promotes physical and mental health,

as well as sportsmanship, camaraderie, self-confidence and a sense of belonging. For many of these athletes, this is the end of retreating inward and the beginning of reaching out socially to participate, create relationships and have fun! Today we pause to remember the extraordinary men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.🇺🇸

Standing among the flags and headstones at Fort Snelling National Cemetery is a powerful reminder of the enormity of that sacrifice — and of the families, stories, and futures forever changed because of it.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a day of reflection, remembrance, gratitude, and honoring those who never made it home.

May we never take their sacrifice for granted. And may we always remember the courage it took to protect the freedoms we hold today.

🚨The legendary Mullet Wagon is BACK for Year 10🚨

Where mullets, glitter, tinsel, dirty side stripes, and elite festival flow rule the day. 😮‍💨🏒✂️✨

Thanks to Pulltab Sports, participating Festival athletes can stop by Friday & Saturday of the Festival weekend for FREE from Abraham the Barber and Nicole the stylist:

And yes… we are officially launching the inaugural HF Mullet Cup.🏆

We’ll be scouting the weekend’s most legendary lettuce, championship-level flow, elite side stripes, and overall FLOWdium-worthy hockey hair. Winners will be announced on social media the week following Festival weekend.

Ten years ago, the HF Hockey Festival was just an idea. 💙🏒

Twenty-four teams. Three disciplines. A grassroots vision built around inclusion, connection, and the belief that hockey could change lives.

This year? We are welcoming 92 teams across 5 disciplines — including 32 sled hockey teams and nearly 500 sled athletes alone. 🤯💥

The growth has been incredible and we are SO excited about what that means for adaptive hockey, awareness, opportunity, and the future of this community.

This year alone, we are thrilled to welcome 8 brand new sled teams to Festival weekend — creating even more opportunities for friendships, camaraderie, unforgettable moments, and connections between athletes, families, and disciplines from all over the country.

As this event continues to grow, it remains incredibly important to us — alongside our sponsors and supporters — that we protect the heart of what makes Festival special. The grassroots feeling. The relationships. The time spent truly present in the moments that matter most.

The HF Hockey Festival is almost here and we are building the ultimate volunteer squad to help welcome thousands of athletes and families from across the country for one unforgettable weekend of hockey, inclusion, community, and controlled chaos (the fun kind).

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this event — loud, welcoming, hardworking, hilarious, compassionate, and absolutely ELITE at making people feel at home.

Whether you can help for a few hours or all weekend long — we would LOVE to have you on Team HF.

We are also specifically looking for trained medic/support volunteers, as athlete safety and wellness are a priority throughout Festival weekend.
