I left my teaching position at Athenian Academy to pursue an opportunity where I could make a greater impact on students and the community in a more flexible and personalized way. I truly valued my time with the students and teachers at Athenian and gained so much from that experience. However, I came to realize that my personal and professional goals no longer aligned with the direction of the school. I felt called to create a space that prioritizes individualized support and mentorship for youth.
That’s why I am creating 7 Pillars Tutoring and Mentoring, LLC. The goal is to provide a service dedicated to providing one-on-one academic assistance and life coaching. My goal is to help youth in our community overcome challenges, succeed in school, set meaningful goals, and work through struggles in a supportive and faith-based environment.
While I am starting small, I have a vision for something much bigger. I want to build a space where our community comes together to raise and support our children—not as individuals working in isolation, but as a united village. My ultimate goal is to create a community-centered tutoring and mentoring program where adults put aside differences, break down communication barriers, and work together to equip the next generation. I want to help shape moral, loving, purpose-driven, and goal-oriented individuals who recognize their need for God and the strength of their community.
