The Lima farm is an active part of the ministry of the Apostles of Jesus. Pictured here is Father Abel with the first harvest of honey from the new bee keeping venture. The goal is to be a sustainable source of food and support for the schools. Your love and support is directly providing food to the hungry and a sustainable future to those in need. # bees

We want to thank you for the incredible support you have shown Building a Bridge to Uganda through our annual Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser over the years. Your generosity has helped make a meaningful impact on the students’ lives in Uganda.

We have received several inquiries about this year’s event and we wanted to share that we will not be hosting Designer Bag Bingo this year.

Although this fundraiser will not take place our mission continues and our students still need your support! We remain deeply committed to supporting our schools in Uganda and pray for God’s continued blessing over this mission with hopes to bring new fundraising opportunities and community events to you in the future. The Pangea Teacher Development Program, in partnership with Building a Bridge to Uganda, is excited to welcome Matovu Fredrick Sseruggo as our new Lead Mentor Instructor, supporting our school-based literacy mentorship program in Luwero and Sodogo 🏫✨

Fredrick is a passionate educator with 8 years of classroom experience 👨‍🏫 and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Primary Education (Grade V) 🎓. He has previously served as a Head of Department, where he demonstrated strong leadership in mentoring teachers and strengthening effective learning practices 🤝📖

Driven by a commitment to sustainable literacy support 🌱📘, Fredrick is dedicated to empowering teachers and improving learning outcomes for children 👧🏾👦🏾
