Have you signed up for tonight’s Troop Care?! Come and be a part of a very fun event where we fill boxes with lots of goodies for a member of the armed services from our neighborhood!
It’s a fun way for us to honor those serving and is so appreciated! As I check on addresses for those we’ve mailed to in the past, we always receive comments like, “I can’t tell you how much it means to me to receive the goodie box from home. It made my day, or I shared it with my unit or, I loved the notes included.” Some of our guys and gals have been deployed for months!
So what do you need to do??
Register to come on our website at: https://www.pcwl.org/
Bring at least $25 worth of goodies to pack. It can be several of the same item since we will divide them into all the boxes. There is a list provided on our website, but whatever you might have mailed to your kids while away at camp or college would work as long as it’s nonperishable. Some of these service members have kids too and may be in the states or overseas with their families.
Do you know anyone that is serving from the Pearce area?? Please send me names and contact info asap. We have done this long enough that some of our original service members are retiring!! So we need to add some to our list!!
