What an amazing day at Vassar College! The 91st Sojourners explored Ely Hall's mini museum, watched a geyser simulation come to life, and discovered glowing minerals under UV light. Our scouts drew topographical maps, identified minerals, and even got hands-on with a virtual sandbox to learn about erosion. Huge thanks to Rover Kirsten for hosting this incredible badgework extravaganza—hot cocoa and all!

At our most recent scouts meeting we learned essential fire-building skills, from gathering tinder to safely maintaining a flame. These outdoor skills build confidence and prepare our youth for any adventure. 🔥🪵

This past weekend, members of the 91st Sojourners made sandwiches and gathered non-perishable food items for donation to the community fridge at Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church!

Tomorrow is the big day! 2,500 volunteers will help us distribute 350,000 meals at 25 distribution sites across our service area - pulling off the largest Thanksgiving Distribution in New York State! Otters deepened their understanding of what it means to be a helper by learning about the life of a wildlife rehabilitation specialist. We also got to meet some beautiful birds of prey. Now that Zora has collected facts, she is onto making her animal scrapbook, which is part of the nature badge.
