Happy 251st Birthday to America's Navy!

In true Navy fashion, our cadets celebrated this day today by having the oldest cadet present (C/CDR Calderon) and the youngest cadet present (C/SR Wiesen) share the task of cutting the birthday cake for all cadets in the unit. This shared task symbolizes the passing of knowledge, experience, and tradition from one generation to the next. We are honored to have celebrated this day together, and we hope everyone enjoys today's celebration of 251 years of honored tradition and service.

On October 9, 2026, our cadets visited Mulholland Middle School, and had the opportunity to inform middle school students about our wonderful NJROTC program and its benefits. We also had our unarmed and armed exhibition teams perform for Mulholland students! As well as our drones in action! Thank you so much to Mr. Roth, who on behalf of the Jewish War Veterans, presented us with a donation to support our unit's funding on October 6th! Mr. Roth has been an incredible and avid supporter of Reseda NJROTC for years now, and we are extremely grateful for his generosity. Our cadets had the opportunity to hear his kind words of encouragement to us this past Tuesday. We will ensure that we stay committed to doing our very best to make sure we put good use to this extremely generous donation.

Yesterday, our cadets competed in the annual Rialto Athletic Field Meet (RAFM) where we showed off our fitness, coordination, and unit pride!

We had a great time competing with other schools and having fun with all the other JROTCs in the area! Everyone looked sharp and showed an incredible amount of effort and dedication. Congratulations to all the cadets who attended for their schools!

Thank you to the parents, instructors, and every cadet who showed up and made this event possible. From competitors to helpers, you all showed what Reseda is made of. We can't wait to see you all again! ⚓⚓⚓
