We had a very special visitor today! Mayor Armondo Pavone stopped by to check out our Community Health and Resource Fair, and we couldn’t be more honored.

Having the Mayor take time to visit our very first year event means so much to us as a brand new neighborhood association. Thank you, Mayor Pavone, for your support of the Renton Highlands and for believing in what we’re building here.

We have to give a special shoutout before tomorrow: City Council President Ruth Pérez-Ralston will be joining us at the Community Health and Resource Fair! Having her support means so much for this being our very first year, and we can’t wait to have her walk the fair with all of you.

And while we’ve spent the last two weeks introducing you to many of our amazing participants, we couldn’t fit everyone in individually, so here’s the rest of the incredible lineup you’ll get to meet tomorrow:

Step by Step, Sustainable Renton, Seattle Veterinary Outreach, Invested in Neighborhoods, Community in Schools, Renton Technical College, Humana, CISC, KC E-911 Program Office, and several City of Renton departments (Neighborhood Program, Human Resources, Housing Repair, Planning, Community & Economic Development).

That’s on top of Renton Regional Fire Authority, Renton Police Dept, Pet Set Go, HealthPoint Sunset, Vision House, Bloodworks NW’s Bloodmobile, Dirty Dawgz, and free notary services.

Meet Our Fair Participants: Vision House 🏡

We’re honored to welcome Vision House to our Community Health and Resource Fair this Saturday!

Vision House provides housing and support services to families and individuals experiencing homelessness right here in our region, helping them build toward stability and a place to call home. Stop by their table to learn more about their programs and how the community can get involved or find support.
