Kennydale PTA is a non-profit organization. Through our programs & events, our goals are to:
•Support our Kennydale Elementary student's academic achievement.
•Encourage and assist open communication between families, teachers, and staff.
•Provide fun, social events.
•Build a thriving, caring school community where parents and families feel welcome and are provided with an opportunity to become involved with their child's educational experience.

Celebrate your 5th grader’s big accomplishment with a beautiful graduation bouquet! Flowers are available for pre-order at www.kennydalepta.org, and a limited quantity of bouquets will be available for purchase before the graduation ceremony.

Medium Bouquet: $15
Large Bouquet: $25

Flowers make a wonderful way to recognize your student’s hard work and mark this special milestone. We encourage families to pre-order to ensure availability.

The Kennydale Spring Carnival is coming, and admission is FREE! Enjoy an evening filled with fun on the Kennydale Elementary playground. Every current Kennydale student will receive one Carnival Punchcard to visit each game for FREE.

Dinner and extra tickets for games and concessions are available for purchase. Pre-ordering for dinner is recommended–it helps us make sure there is enough food for all. This event only happens with the help of volunteers! Pre-orders and volunteer sign-ups: www.kennydalepta.org

Save the Date: June 4 | 6-8pm | Kennydale Playground

Mark your calendar - the Spring Carnival is coming, and admission is free! Join your friends for an evening filled with fun on the Kennydale Elementary playground. Sign up to volunteer now, and stay tuned for important links to pre-order food and games!

Kennydale PTA has recently been recognized by with two awards!!

The Platinum Membership Growth Award is presented to PTAs who enroll at least 20% more members this year than last year. That means our PTA growth has been truly exceptional!

The 100% Staff Gold Membership Award is awarded to PTAs who enroll at least as many school staff members as there are full-time certificated employees at the school.

Thank you to our incredible staff and community who have become members this year: YOU are the reason our PTA achieved these awards! Your support of our PTA’s vision, mission, and goals are an integral part of what makes the Kennydale and PTA community so strong.

Art Docents and PTA are excited about the fence art project in the works! Here fifth graders are making design ideas for the fence. We plan to have the art completed by the end of the school year. This will not only be a colorful decoration for the school and playground, but it will also provide some privacy from the public passerby.

The supplies have been provided through a grant from Allied Arts of Renton.

Let’s set the garden up for Summer success! Please bring gardening tools if you have some. We will be laying burlap and bark on the pathway, weeding garden beds, and if anyone is able to provide, we need to weed-wack. If you have anything you’d like to plant, we have room in the garden beds!

Join us for the PTA community Meeting where members will vote in the 2026-2027 PTA board!

The Kennydale Elementary PTA Nomination Committee submitted the following names for nomination to the membership 5/2: Secretary - Stevie Wahlman; Treasurer - Michelle Howard; Co-VPs of Events - Rachel Buckner & Nicolle Candland; Co-VPs of Fundraising - Ellen Rockney & Christina Scholz; VP of Membership: Shauna Sobel; President or Co-Presidents - OPEN**

The nominating committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of a PTA for at least 15 days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws.

Additional nominations may be made from the floor with the consent of the nominee on May 19 at the voting meeting. This is especially important for the office of president, as our current president will have served the maximum of two consecutive years. If you or someone you know is interested in this or any other board position, please email [email protected].
