At noon local time across the country, CWA members are stopping work for 8 minutes and 46 seconds - the length of time the Minneapolis police officer had his knee on George Floyd’s neck. Black lives matter.

Tomorrow (June 11) at noon CWA members and allies will take a stand against racism by doing what union members do best when demanding justice: Stopping Work.

We are asking all CWA members to stop and reflect for 8 minutes and 46 seconds to remember the length of time the Minneapolis police officer had his knee on George Floyd’s neck.
