Educators know what their students need. Your gift today makes it possible for educators to bring fresh ideas and real resources into classrooms across Renton. For the month of October, every gift to teacher grants goes twice as far with our dollar-for-dollar match. Help our educators bring their best ideas to life by making your gift at: https://www.rentonschoolsfoundation.org/post/october-donations-double-your-impact

“[The students] are excited to wear the uniforms—they’re coming in and having that sense of pride and ownership” - RHS Band Teacher, Katherine Suebert.

The Renton High School Marching Band recently delivered a powerhouse performance at their school’s homecoming football game.
Students and families were impressed with the band's musicality, and the professionalism they showed on the field. The Renton Schools Foundation is thankful for all the individuals and partners that contributed funding for the new uniforms. It was great to watch the students carry their school colors with pride, tradition, and excellence.

We are excited to share some fantastic news! The Renton Schools Foundation has officially welcomed Tana Peterman as our new Executive Director. Tana started with us on September 1st, and our team is buzzing with enthusiasm - we truly believe Tana is the perfect fit to help us elevate our work. Her email is: [email protected]. Drop her an email and don't hesitate to say hello when she is out and about in the community.

I'll still be around as our Board Chair to support RSF and Tana as we embark on this exciting new chapter together. It's been an absolute joy serving as your volunteer chairperson all these years, and I'm not going anywhere!

Thank you all for your continued partnership and support!

Last month, the students at McKnight Middle School, under the guidance of Drama Club teacher Saralyn Stroup, delivered a fantastic performance of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” Here are a few photos from one of the rehearsals. The foundation is committed to enhancing opportunities for students, and supporting drama clubs in all secondary schools is one way your contributions make a difference!
