We had a ton of fun in June hosting our free workshop series focusing on lights, pit orchestrations, mixing and sound! If we’ve learned anything from live theatre, it’s that EVERY show, no matter how well rehearsed is different.

Having training and a crew that is ready to pivot and adjust on the fly is what makes live theatre, theatre. Continuing to puruse your craft and grow creative and performing arts skills doesn’t stop once you’ve completed our programs, gone onto high school productions and beyond.

It’s something that you can continue to grow the rest of your journey. Thanks for being a part of ours. If you’d like to support more programs like these, please consider making a donation of any size.

Donations received by July 4 will be included in our upcoming production acknowledgments in the program. Thank YOU: https://keap.page/lvw654/donate-to-fendig-theatre-for-children.html

It's show month - Hear from some of our cast members why they are excited about the show and what they love about Fendig. Every summer this program is more than just a show for our community - It's an experience for young people to get together and create something bigger than themselves.

Sure, there might be nerves on stage and maybe even a couple of oops moments as they make creative decisions in real-time - the one thing that is consistent year after year is that participants have fun and enjoy collaborating together performing. Across ages, skill-levels and just being kids, our performers make the magic happen and put on a show that NEEDS to be seen.

Please share this post and join us for our 51st production "The Magician's Elephant" Performances take place on July 9 and 10 at. 7 p.m. CDT and July 11 at 1:30 CDT at the RCHS Auditorium. Tickets are available at Pizza King, Cup of Joy, Too in Rensselaer, our cast members or on our website. We can't wait to see you there.
