nd all aspects of postpartum and even goes as far to develop information for menopausal women. This site is made to give out ALL information, not just one side. While the women behind this site lean toward holistic medicine practices and are both working to become certified professional midwives, they will also provide information about how to have a birth in a hospital that is more designed toward the desires of a mother.

Here at the Maternal Integrity Project, we believe that we are not born with a so-called “maternal instinct,” but that they are constructed to believe that they are supposed to be mothers and wives. We believe that this is problematic, and that women need to be midwifed into motherhood. Midwifery is not just for delivering babies, but for helping mothers become the great mothers we see every day.
