The Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Knockout, a team poker competition to raise funds and awareness for local charities, is an annual fundraiser currently organized by WhenCharityWorks.org – a nonprofit providing communities and organizations with collaborative program development and support services. We have redesigned the tournament to benefit all qualified 501c3 organizations represented with a

team. The Charity Poker Knockout is one of four unique events over four days in Reno with the Knockout as the main featured event. We anticipate greater participation with the new format for the 2012 event. We are giving back 100 percent of the proceeds back to all the charities involved. Our vision is to bring all Reno-area casinos, businesses and community members in to the tournament structure as a collaborative effort. The Knockout, featuring local poker professionals Jennifer Harman-Traniello and her husband Marco, was hosted at two other casino properties in 2010-11.
