THANK YOU to all who have donated these stockings for 2026! We are thrilled to be able to use these this upcoming year. If you have already purchased stockings individually we will still take them! But with that being said, with the amount of stockings we have been getting in we are in need of content to fill these stockings! Please note that we will continue to take stocking donations but truly in need of content to go inside each stocking to continue this project ❤️ We couldn’t do this without you! Thank you!

Estherville Hospital❤️

Avera Holy Family Hospital was truly blessed to receive patient stockings from the Stocking Stuffing organization, led by Andrea Penning and her incredible team of volunteers.

Andrea began this meaningful tradition after her father was hospitalized and she recognized the simple joy a small act of kindness could bring to patients spending the holidays in the hospital. What started as a heartfelt idea has grown into something truly special.

This year, Andrea, along with her family, friends, volunteers, and generous donors, created 605 stockings and delivered them to 18 local hospitals, spreading comfort, joy, and Christmas cheer to patients during the holiday season.

We are so grateful for this kindness and for everyone who helped make this beautiful mission possible. 🎄❤️

Stuff A Stocking made its last delivery today! 605 stockings to 18 hospitals statewide. None of this would have been possible without YOU! Thank you to all who have supported me, prayed over this project, donated, and helped throughout the entire process. Truly a thank you cannot express how grateful I am for everyone involved! ❤️ Until next year! It’ll be here before we know it 🎄

Delivered to Sioux City Unity Point ❤️❤️

We’re grateful to Andrea Penning for stopping by to deliver stockings for UnityPoint Health – Sioux City patients who may be spending the holidays in the hospital.

With the help of family, friends, churches, schools, 4-H groups and generous community supporters, Andrea helped donate 605 filled stockings and blankets to 18 hospitals across Iowa this year. Each stocking was thoughtfully prepared and labeled for men, women, children and teens.

Thank you for spreading kindness and helping make the season a little brighter for our patients. 💙

Big Sioux Falls trip! Delievered to the children’s hospital, and then a stop at Life 96.5 radio station. They take the donations to Avera Behavioral Health! Then last stop at family friends small business Live Inspired365. Big delivery day but couldn’t have done it without the support of you ❤️

As we enter into the holiday season, we are often reminded of family. Even though, our family friend Jamie isn’t in the hospital. Stuff A Stocking wanted to gift her this small gift and remind her we are thinking of her. We are grateful for her support of this project and want to continue to think and pray of her with this tough journey❤️

Because of Orange City Area Health System my dad was well taken care of and got the care he needed. We are blessed to have him here today. Thank you ❤️

In October 2021, Andrea Penning’s dad was hospitalized at Orange City Area Health System and eventually life-flighted to Sioux Falls with COVID. His outlook was dire, and doctors did not expect him to survive. By the grace of God, he not only recovered, but he was home for Christmas! That miracle sparked something powerful.

Knowing firsthand that many people spend the holidays in a hospital, Andrea and her family donated 45 Christmas stockings to hospitalized patients that December, all filled with comfort items, treats, and small joys. What started as a single act of gratitude has grown into an incredible tradition of giving.

This year, Andrea (now a nursing student herself) and an army of family, friends, churches, schools, 4-H groups, and community supporters donated 605 filled stockings and blankets to 18 hospitals across Iowa. Each stocking is thoughtfully labeled for men, women, children, and teens. They also included gift cards for nurses, “because they took such good care of my dad.”

What a beautiful reminder of how hope multiplies when a community comes together. Thank you, Andrea, and to everyone who helped make this possible. 🎄✨

Stuff A Stocking made a very special delivery today to Remsen St. Mary's Schools 💙🤍 Being able to share my story with these girls was truly a special moment today. Even though 2 of the 3 girls are no longer hospitalized, Praise the Lord, we are still thinking of their recovery journey!Thankful to all who have donated to make moments like this possible. 💙🤍✝️
