Spring Break looked a little different for us this year 🐴💙

Winnie and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Goldton at Athens, and this time we had a very special guest tagging along — Cooper! Since it was his spring break, he joined us for the visit… and honestly, he may have stolen a little bit of Winnie’s spotlight 😄

From smiles and laughter to sweet moments shared with residents and staff, it was one of those visits that reminds us why we do what we do. Watching connections happen — not just with Winnie, but with Cooper too — was incredibly special. Horses bring joy, but sometimes kids do too!

Winnie is OFFICIALLY the first horse to be allowed into Bryant Conference Center at The University of Alabama. 🎉🎉

We took on the ASADS Conference this week and she absolutely stole hearts 💛🐴
Being surrounded by so many passionate individuals, organizations, and advocates reminded me exactly why we do what we do. Winnie represents more than just a therapy mini—she represents connection, comfort, and the incredible impact horses can have on human lives.
From meaningful conversations to new opportunities to collaborate, this experience was so special. I’m beyond grateful to share Winnie’s mission and continue spreading awareness about the healing power of these amazing animals.

We are incredibly proud to announce something very special! 🎉🐴💜

Winnie is a certified miniature therapy horse through AMTHA—and she is currently the only miniature horse in Alabama with this certification.

We take great pride in holding ourselves to the highest standards so that Winnie can continue doing what she does best—bringing comfort, connection, and joy to those who need it most. 🫶✨

This certification represents an extensive amount of training, preparation, and evaluation. Winnie has worked hard to demonstrate the temperament, behavior, and skills required to safely and confidently serve in a variety of environments.

For the facilities and communities we visit, this certification is more than a title—it is reassurance. It reflects our commitment to professionalism, reliability, and most importantly, that safety is always our number one priority.

Did you know that Winnie – The Therapy Mini is not just amazing at bringing smiles and comfort… she’s also a champion in the show ring?

In 2025, Winnie and Cooper competed with the North Alabama Saddle Club Association (NASCA) and earned High-point Champion in FOUR different events! 🏆

This little mare may be small, but she is incredibly versatile! Whether she’s comforting someone during a therapy visit or flying through barrels in the arena, Winnie loves having a job and making people proud.

Winnie – The Therapy Mini loves meeting people exactly where they are. Whether someone needs a smile, a calming moment, or just a chance to pet a tiny horse, Winnie is always ready to share a little love.

📚🐴 Read Across America Week with Winnie!🐴📚

Winnie had the best time visiting a local elementary school to celebrate Read Across America Week! The students were so excited to meet her, and it made the experience even more special getting to share the joy of reading with them.

Watching the kids listen, laugh, and engage with the story reminded us how powerful books can be in sparking imagination and building a love for learning. Winnie loved all the attention and did such a great job helping bring the story to life!

A big thank you to the teachers and staff for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a fun and meaningful week. We loved meeting all the amazing students! ❤️📖
