August is National Parks Month and Family Fun Month and Back To School

What better fun than a day trip to Little River Canyon (National Park) with a picnic lunch and your fur-bearing family member. Explore all that mother nature has to offer. Clean air, streams, hiking along the pathways, stopping for some fantastic pictures to place in the family album.

This has been a short summer (not heat wise) school wise. Seems like the kiddos just got out for summer vacation now it’s time for back to school. This weekend, give the kids a treat. Come by PetSmart Trussville and meet our pups and kitties all looking for their forever home and family. And we have some real cuties waiting to give you lots of love and cuddling. As you settle back into a routine, make a new pet part of the experience of responsibility and caring for another living being.

RPACI is proud to be partnering with PetSmart-Trussville this Saturday August 8th 11:30-3:00 for an adoption event. SURPRISE: we will have 2 Pembrook Corgies this weekend Making their debut are 5 month old YODI (M) and Yoshi (F). Spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and will be microchipped prior to going home. Come meet these sweet little bubble-butts. They won’t be there long.

Thank you everyone for the donations received to help Ruby get her eyes checked. They have been so very appreciated.
Thanks also to the HSIS Dept at UAB for taking in a collection to donate. I will keep everyone updated on her progress. She's a sweet pup and thanks you all.

On behalf of all the critters and volunteers we would like to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all those Pawsome dads out there, be they the 2- legged kind or the 4-legged kind. We will however, we will be available for appointments (cats or dogs).
